Meet the Designers
Becca Traxson

I believe one idea leads to string of new ideas. Once I see a new design project and review the scope of work, the first thing I do is imagine a visual solution to an idea and then move forward — that one idea usually starts a domino effect of creativity.
My design style can be summed up in one word: efficient. I incorporate efficiency into every project I work on, making sure clients feel heard, understood and that their needs have been met. If those boxes are checked, I feel like I’ve done my job.
One of the best aspects of working at Fox Home Innovations is the freedom I have in expressing myself as a designer. This kind of creative license allows me the confidence to do my job to the best of my abilities. Because of this freedom, I’m proud of all my projects. When a client returns to FHI for another remodel or with a new challenge, that is a wonderful feeling.
I’ve been a designer at FHI for 8 years, but when I’m not working, you can find me hanging out with my husband and two daughters, exercising, or seizing an opportunity to grab my inner artist by the hands.

I’ve been a FHI designer since November 2021, and I’ve learned to approach each project as a problem that needs solved. Once I’ve maximized the functionality of a space, I can segue into ensuring every detail looks as amazing as possible. It’s all about finding the balance between function and form, and that’s a fun challenge.
Every new project presents these kinds of challenges, and I’m proud to be part of a team that is dedicated to solving our clients’ problems. The entire FHI team is committed to delivering the best possible experience for our clients, and that passion is contagious.
I want every project to be my best project. I take pride in rolling the experience of each successive project into the next, applying what I’ve learned and constantly evolving. Left to my own devices, I prefer a clean, minimal and contemporary modern design, but I’m also a big fan of industrial design. A dream project of mine is converting a warehouse into an industrial modern living/working space.
Design is always at the front of my mind. I’m constantly looking for an excuse to express my design skills, whether through graphic design work or actually building something — any excuse to break out my power tools is a great day. I like that every day can be different and offer something new to learn. One could say my hobby is acquiring new hobbies.
