Our Design-Build Process

SITE VISIT

  • A Meeting at your home to look at the existing space
  • Learn about you and your family to understand your goals, wants, & dreams
  • Gather information to create a Preliminary Estimate

PRELIMINARY
PROJECT PROPOSAL

  • A project budget proposal is created and sent to you for review
  • This tells a story of what is involved in your project and what costs are associated with it
  • Helps you identify an investment range and final scope of work

DESIGN AGREEMENT

  • Your project is assigned a tentative construction start date
  • A project team including a designer and project manager are assigned to you
  • A design calendar is created along with a design invoice is sent

Design

  • Initial measure at your home to collect all data for project
  • Initial Project floor plans and layouts are created and reviewed
  • Cabinetry, Flooring, Fixtures, and accessories are selected
  • Construction Documents, Selections, and engineering documents created

Discovery

  • Trade Contractor walks are completed
  • Identify any challenges and solve based on new floor plan
  • Verify all windows, doors, and special order items
  • Update Project budget based on new information

Development

  • A final budget meeting takes place to approve Project Costs
  • A letter of intent of construction is signed to place special order items
  • Final Design meeting with Designer and sign on all plans/selections
  • Clarify Project timeline and start date

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

  • Construction Contract meeting
  • A payment schedule is provided
  • Contract Payment is collected
  • Project Manager reviews project plan and schedule
  • Client Orientation/Expectations are communicated

Construction

  • Weekly Project Communication
  • Seeing all design/planning work come to life
  • Final Completion List is created
  • Customer Satisfaction
